Apple Cash:
pay with a clearer picture.

Apple Cash transfers and Apple Pay card purchases are different payment types.

Before you send

  • Use Apple Cash with people you know and trust.
  • Pay attention to transaction warnings rather than following pressure to dismiss them.
  • Confirm unfamiliar requests through a separate, trusted conversation.

Understand the limits

Apple says an unaccepted, pending person-to-person payment can be canceled in Wallet. An accepted transfer is different. Apple Pay merchant card purchases follow the relevant card process; do not assume Apple Cash has the same purchase protections.

If something goes wrong

Check the transaction in Wallet. For a suspicious Apple Cash payment, contact an Apple Cash Specialist at Green Dot Bank through Apple’s official support route. Report unauthorized activity promptly.
